All Solar World is an innovative producer of Solar Home Systems that integrates Wi-Fi and provide power and lighting for communities who are off-grid or who have limited access to electricity. The technology partnership with uCloudlink enables All Solar World to repurpose parts of the uCloudlink’s IoT & M2M communication modules for integration into its Solar Home Systems making them more financially accessible for these communities in need.  

The Solar Home System solutions allow access to clean and stable lighting and energy solutions, and the mobile broadband enables business entrepreneurship, education and information empowerment from news, health and financial providers. By equipped with an integrated Wi-Fi modem, this specific hardware extension offers possibilities for innovative functionally. The integration consists of hardware (the integrated Wi-Fi modem) and Web based Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions.

The project lead will be announcing over coming weeks further corporate partnerships to fund a series of pilot projects with off-grid communities in Indonesia, the first being in Bali and surrounding islands. The pilot stage will also cover specific African regions.
